The work was completed on October 26 provided an opportunity for researchers, scientists and professionals in architecture and town planning to review the work of preservation and promotion of heritage. Thus, the 100 participants shared their views on the challenges of the twenty-first century, namely the way for the revitalization of traditional architecture in the historic centers of cities and also in rural centers. The case of Morocco has been widely studied. There, many buildings are in a state of advanced deterioration. For example, a building like the sumptuous palace in Marrakesh El Badia Saadian the time is now in ruins. According to a study by a committee of researchers, this historic site suffered multiple damage requiring urgent restructuring. Other architectural sites are completely abandoned in the region of Larache, and in the valleys of the Draa and the region of El Jadida. Particular attention was paid also to the ramparts and walls of the medina of Meknes, very damaged.
This is due to climatic conditions, more and more severe causing a large migration of sand towards the south. To remind, that several restoration of old walls have been undertaken. Unfortunately, this is not enough. Also, the experts unanimously demanding ways and also more concrete measures to save the national architectural heritage. Recommendations have been adopted in this direction by the specialists of the Mediterranean. It is now moving to the practical phase.
